I dedicate myself to meeting my couple's dreams for their special day. I especially enjoy creating a ceremony that reflects the couple and makes their moment so very special. My couples have described me as flexible, attentive to detail, and reassuring. Please read what my couples and their guests have said about my work and efforts to make their ceremony a special one.
I do not use a "cookie cutter" approach to my ceremonies. Each ceremony is individually created for my couples. Even the "sudden" elopements that I officiate are specifically written for each couple. Below are some kind words from Jennie and Stephen. They asked me to also officiate at their vow renewal later this year:
"Rev. Coll,
We were all very happy with the ceremony! Steve's grandmother is still talking about it.
The date for our renewal of vows will be July 26. Thank you so much for performing the ceremonies! As you may know it is REALLY hard for some people to let their "Little Boy" get married, but you really put his mom's nerves to rest. His father even teared up a little. I guess there's a first for everything.
It was our pleasure having you"Jennie Bullis
I was so pleased to be able to assist Daniel and Anna. With a week's notice, they sought a wedding officiate for their elopement in Albany, New York. They were married at the Best Western Sovereign on Western Avenue in the middle of a snow storm. They were delayed by two hours as a result of the terrible road conditions. Because I only book one ceremony each day, their delay in arriving was no issue. Below is a message from a close friend of the couple.
"Hello Reverend Coll:
We all just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the wonderful ceremony. Dan and Anna loved it, everybody did. I can't wait to see the pictures.
We are planning on having a more formal ceremony later in the year and just needed to get the "legal" thing taken care of earlier and were not expecting much. You really made it so much more special than anyone thought possible. Thanks for the great job, we sincerely apprieciate it.
Be well and god bless"John (for Dan, Anna and family)
I have attended many ceremonies but yours, on a scale of one to ten, was a ten and a half!!!

"Dear Rev. Colleen,
Thank you so much for being part of our special day. The ceremony was beautiful, and everyone was complimenting your service. Michael and I will reflect often on the words you spoke that day, and especially the vows we declared to each other. We will never forget such a memorable day and we were pleased you were a part of it. Many thanks & warm wishes always!"

The Deepening Journey
"What amazes me is that before we can count we are taught to be grateful for what others do. As we are broken open by our experience, we begin to be grateful for what is, and if we live long enough and deep enough and authentically enough, gratitude becomes a way of life"
~Mark Nepo~
I am grateful to my couples for allowing me the honor of being their officiant. Thank you!
Please feel free to contact me. I would be honored to assist you in creating your special day.
